CHOICE PRINCIPALS NETWORK
Ms. Blaylock greeted twenty leaders from throughout the state whose
schools are implementing the Americas Choice school reform model today.
The first order of business was a Focus Walk in all 7th
and 8th English and math classes to record evidences of the
Book of the Month, 25 Book Campaign, use of Word Walls, posting of
standards and objectives for the class, and evidence of a component of
the Workshop Model of instruction. Data
collected reflected favorably the staff’s implementation.
Literacy Coach Brenda Bankston and Design Coach Larry Buck shared
recent use of formative literacy data.
Cluster Leader Janie Holmes then shared Math related concepts to
the group.
