The staff of Mabelvale Magnet Middle School firmly believes that each student regardless of gender, ethnicity, or economic status, is entitled to and should receive the highest standard of quality education that we can possibility offer. By offering a curriculum that is both academically stimulating and equitable, Mabelvale Magnet Middle School, will allow students to develop their individual strengths and talents, so that we can produce students who are responsible, thinking and contributing citizens in an independent and constantly changing world. We are committed to accomplishing this through open-access to a diverse, innovative, traditional curriculum taught in a non-traditional way that stress the development of life-long learning skills, goal setting, and decision-making. |

Mabelvale Junior High School, located at 10811 Mabelvale West Road, was built as a high school in 1952 by the Pulaski County Special School District. The school replaced the Mabelvale High School which burned during the 1951 school year. When McClellan High School was opened in 1967 Mabelvale became a junior high school. Both Mabelvale Junior High and McClellan High Schools were obtained by the Little Rock School District in 1987. |
