| The Dragon Team went to Heifer Project
International Ranch October 25, 2007 to enjoy a hayride, the viewing of
many ranch animals which are like those provided to people all over the
world in HPI’s effort to eliminate global warming.
Ask any Dragon about “the 7 M’s,” which explain the value
of animals to people in poverty. You
should hear “Muscle, Milk, Meat, Money, Material, Motivation --and
everyone’s favorite—Manure! (Great
for growing new things like the food we all eat!).
We milked goats (hmmmm, yummy goat cheese called “feta”),
made rope to see how many weak little strings together build a rope
strong enough to use bind us together.
All that is a Heifer metaphor for how weak we are apart and how
strong we are together. Good
message for our Dragons as we prepare to join the global community and
do our share to help others. DRAGONS
ARE GLOBAL FLYERS! |
